Inspired by Japan: From AI Workshops to Snow-Covered Peaks

18.2.2025

A multifaceted journey to Japan – AI workshop, EXPO 2025, and snow-covered mountain landscapes.

A highlight of the journey was our visit to the EXPO 2025 construction site in Osaka, where we saw firsthand the scale and ambition of one of the world’s largest expos. It was inspiring to witness how Japan integrates technology, design, and sustainability at such a high level.

In Kyoto, we held a workshop with our artificial intelligence specialist, Miroslav Simko. We discussed ways to integrate AI into our processes, shared specific challenges from recent projects, and identified new approaches that enrich our work through cultural and technological diversity. As an international team, we’re able to rapidly implement leading innovations from different fields and combine them into impactful, functional solutions.

After the workshop, Miroslav gave us a tour of his city – together with his family – offering us a truly local perspective on Kyoto.

Next, we headed north to snowy Hokkaido, where we enjoyed a well-earned break in the legendary Japanese powder snow.

And the food? An exceptional experience.

With this trip, Japan secured a top spot on our internal list of most inspiring countries. We’re already looking forward to what future collaborations in this region will bring.
