BIM consultancy Vltava Philharmonic Hall in Prague

In 2022, ioLabs was engaged by IPR Prague, the Prague Institute of Planning and Development, as BIM consultants for the Vltava Philharmonic Hall project designed by the renowned Danish studio BIG.

Our role involved implementing BIM practices into the design workflow and thereby providing strategic support throughout the project's lifecycle. The client required a comprehensive project overview, including design, costs, and schedule in different phases. The implementation of BIM into the design workflow is essential for the project's success. Our responsibilities encompassed establishing BIM standards, managing the BIM process during design and construction, and utilizing model data.

We conducted a thorough initial review of documentation to define the BIM process, developed a BIM strategy, and specified model requirements. Additionally, we created employer's information requirements (EIR) to outline information needed from project participants and their expected deliverables. Our goal was to ensure seamless integration of BIM and facilitate effective collaboration on the Vltava Philharmonic Hall project.
