ioFM has a new MCP server

ioFM has a new MCP server

14.4.2026

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the emerging standard that lets AI agents talk directly (in defined scope) to software systems.

By exposing ioFM through an MCP server, every building, room, floor, asset and issue becomes structured data an AI can query, reason over, and act on — without anyone clicking through a UI.

What that looks like in practice:→ "Show me my projects"→ "Open the BIM viewer for building B"→ "Create a new issue — broken window, room 2.14"→ "Generate an interactive dashboard"→ etc.

The AI navigates the data, asks the right questionsto get what it needs or writes the issue. No manual navigation. No form hunting.

Why machine readability matters:Building data has always been locked in interfaces designed for humans. MCP changes that. When your FM platform speaks a language AI understands, you get:

— Instant access to building data without menus or training— Issues logged in seconds, directly from a conversation— BIM models and dashboards on demand— A platform that agents can extend, automate, and integrate

Facility management just got a lot more open and connected.
